The Best Homemade Meatballs!

HOMEMAADE-3

My husband absolutely loves it when I make my homemade meatballs. It’s definitely one of those comfort foods that just make you feel better after a long day of work. Also, they taste a thousand times better than those bagged/frozen ones ;). After some experimenting, and a bit mashing up recipes, I found the perfect one to fit my little family. And ALL my friends love it.

This recipe can serve 4-6 people.

Prep time is about 15-25 minutes depending on the person.

Cook time is 30-35 minutes.

INGREDIENTS:
2 IBS Ground Beef (Or turkey if you prefer it)
2 Eggs
2 Table spoons of Dried Oregano Leave
2 Table spoons of Basil Leaves
1 Table spoon of Pepper
1 Cup of Parmesan Grated Cheese
1 Cup of Panko Bread Crumbs
1 Table Spoon of Minced Garlic
1 Jar of Marinara Sauce
1 Jar of Traditional Sauce
1 Box of Spaghetti Noodles

PREPPING INSTRUCTIONS:
1.) On the stove, in a large pot on medium high heat, heat through the marinara and tradition sauce together and cover it.

2.) In a large enough bowl, mix together the 2 eggs, oregano, basil leaves, pepper and minced garlic. When fully mixed gradually add the panko crumbs and grated parmesan cheese while mixing. After mixing all of that together add in the 2 pounds of meat and mush it together like so:

3.) On the stove, cook the noodles in a boiling pot of water like it says to do on the package. For about 10 minutes. I like to add a dash of salt and two table spoons of oil so that it doesn’t get stuck together. Set that aside when it’s done.

4.) Time to start forming your meatballs. Do you want big sized ones or regular sized ones? I usually take enough to fill the palm of my hand and then roll it up until they are formed into a ball.

5.) Put the meatballs into your big pot of marinara and traditional sauce. BE AWARE: SAUCE WILL START TO POP. You must stir constantly. Cook for 30 minutes on medium high heat.

6.) After those 30 minutes, place your noodles on a plate and serve your meatballs over the noodles. Add some parmesan cheese or mozzarella cheese to your taste and viola! You are done!
